I am a photographer and videographer based in Ringwood, Hampshire, on the edge of the New Forest.
I’ve been around photography all my life. My dad was a professional photographer for many years before running a photo lab for his fellow professionals in the town where I now live, from which many award-winning photos were developed. It’s in my blood, you can say.
I’ve always known my way around a camera, but it was when I inherited Dad’s gear, finding myself with three Nikon DSLRs and 14 lenses, that I decided to get serious. Those cameras have long been superseded, such is the march of technology, but Dad’s camera will always have pride of place on my shelf.
My background is in journalism and now I enjoy travel, wildlife and candid street photography, with occasional events thrown in.
This site is a bit of a portfolio. The front page is an ever-changing gallery of my favourites. You can find examples of my videography here, since I do that for a living and would always be happy to discuss a project with you. Finally, the galleries listed down the left are a kind of photo blog, where I’ll post the results of some of my outings.
I hope you enjoy looking at them as much as I enjoyed taking them.
